We've just rolled out a complete in-app notification system along with email alerts for news posts. This should make it much easier to stay connected to the community without missing important activity.
You'll now get instant notifications when someone mentions you or replies to one of your forum posts. Each notification includes who triggered it and a direct link to the relevant discussion.
Every time a new news post is published (like this one), all users automatically receive a notification. These appear in the top navigation bar — just click to read the full post.
If you're subscribed to news updates, you'll receive clean, professional HTML emails whenever we publish something new. Each email includes a short preview/excerpt and a prominent "Read More" button that takes you straight to the site.
